Amending Floodplain Zoning

= THE CI= TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE MILLS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

<= span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial'> = Section 1. Sect= ion 10-11-E-(1) and (2) of the Lake Mills Municipal Code, General Provisions of Floodplain Zoning, is amended as follows:

E.&nb= sp; GENERAL PROVISIONS

&= nbsp; (1) AREAS TO= BE REGULATED

&= nbsp; Th= is ordinance regulates all areas that would be covered by the regional flood or base flood.

Note: Base flood elevati= ons are derived from the flood profiles in the Flood Insurance Study, 55055CV000A. Regional flood elevations may be d= erived from other studies. Areas cov= ered by the base flood are identified as A-Zones on the Flood Insurance Rate Map= .

&= nbsp; (2) OFFICIAL MAP= S & REVISIONS

&= nbsp; The boundaries of all floodplain districts are designated as floodplains or A&#= 8209;Zones on the maps listed below and the revisions in the City of Lake Mills Floodplain Appendix. Any change to the base flood eleva= tions (BFE) in the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) or on the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) must be reviewed and approved by the DNR and FEMA before it is effective. No changes to regi= onal flood elevations (RFE's) on non-FEMA maps shall be effective until approved= by the DNR. These maps and revis= ions are on file in the office of the City Clerk for the City of Lake Mills. If more than one map or revision is referenced, the most restrictive information shall apply.

<= span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial'> = Section 3. Any ordinance or part of an ordinance that is inconsistent or in conflict with = this ordinance is hereby repealed.

<= span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial'> = Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage and publication as provided by law.
