ORDINANCE  1023

“CLASS B” TEMPORARY WINE LICENSE

            THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE MILLS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.  Section 3-1-2-C, Classes of Licenses, Fees, of the Lake Mills Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the following:

Temporary “Class B” Wine License                           $10.00

Temporary Class “B” Fermented Malt Beverages     $10.00

            Section 2.  Section 3-1-2-G, Granting of License, is hereby amended by adding “Temporary “Class B” Wine” to the types of licenses in that section that do not require the provision of an opportunity to be heard before the City Council for or against the granting of such license.

            Section 3.  Section 3-1-2-I is hereby amended as shown:

I.          In accordance with the provisions of Wis. Stats. §§ 66.125.26(1) or 125.51(1)(a), the City Council authorizes the City Manager to issue, under the following conditions, either a  Temporary Class “B” Fermented Malt Beverage License under Wis. Stats. 125.26(6), or Temporary “Class B” Wine Licenses under Wis. Stats. 125.51(10), or both under the             following conditions:

            4.  The fee for all temporary Class “B” or “Class B” Licenses will shall be $10.00, unless both licenses are issued for the same event, in which case, the fee shall be a total of $10.00 for both licenses.

            5.  All restrictions and additional information listed on the application for Temporary Class “B”/ “Class B” Retailer’s License from the State of Wisconsin are adopted and    incorporated herein by reference.

            Section 4.  This ordinance was sponsored by Council President Ed Grunden.

            Section 5.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with or contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 6.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage and publication.
