Warrants/Commitments

The court may issue a warrant/commitment when:

  1. You violated a summons or order to appear.
  2. You failed to comply with a court order.
  3. You failed to satisfy your judgement.

If a warrant is issued for your arrest for failing to satisfy a judgment, you may contact the court for the amount owed. The court will only give this amount, and the total amount is due. You will need to come to the court office or request in writing any other information regarding the warrants.

Cash and credit/debit card payments are accepted at the Lake Mills Joint Municipal Court, located at the above-mentioned address from 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. There is a 3% fee to pay with credit/debit cards.
